Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly announced his retirement from the NFL after just 8 seasons. The 28-year-old released a statement in the form of a video posted on the team’s social media accounts.
The team had a very disappointing season, but Kuechly wasn’t show many signs of slowing down. He had 144 tackles on the season, which was highest total since 2014.
