The Carolina Panthers were absolutely destroyed on Thursday night by the Pittsburgh Steelers.  After an early first quarter score by the Panthers, the Steelers scored two touchdowns on back-to-back plays, one by their offense and one by their defense.

It was all downhill from there.  The Steelers took a 31-14 lead into halftime and never looked back.

Carolina’s defense looked like they were sleepwalking for much of the game as they allowed Ben Roethlisberger to throw for five touchdowns.  By the end of the game, they were actually sleeping.

Cameras caught Panthers defensive tackle Kyle Love snoozing on the bench late in the 4th quarter with the score 52-21.

Not a great look for Love, but the Panthers have far more important issues to worry about as they prepare for next week.
