The UFC announced on Tuesday that the first fight of the ESPN era will be between Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich. The fight will take place on January 19th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

It’s VanZant’s first fight since breaking her arm in a decision loss to Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC St. Louis back in January of this year.

It’s the fight you didn’t even know you wanted to see. Will it be the best MMA the UFC has to offer? Probably not, but it will attract some eyeballs and that’s all ESPN really wants.
