Texas Senator Ted Cruz beat late night host Jimmy Kimmel 11-9 in a one on one basketball game for charity.
The event, affectionately called the Blobfish Basketball Classic, came about after Kimmel poked fun at Cruz’s look at a Houston Rockets playoff game. Cruz caught wind of the Kimmel jab and challenged the late night host to a one on one game of basketball.

Following the loss Kimmel told Cruz he was a good sport, but a terrible senator.
Props to Cruz for calling out Kimmel and then beating him. There’s nothing worse than being the guy to call someone out and then taking an “L.”
