The Baltimore Orioles are expected to make a few moves at this year’s trade deadline. Manny Machado and Zach Britton have been two of the most talked about names.
Outfielder Adam Jones can now be added to that list. Despite the terrible year the Orioles have had, at 32, Jones has managed to put up decent numbers.
Jones is hitting .275 this season with 10 home runs and 33 RBIs. Those are good enough numbers for the Indians to consider adding him to their roster for their playoff push.
Adam Jones to #Indians is among the viable trade possibilities as Baltimore and Cleveland continue dialogue on multiple players. Indians looking for a right-handed outfield bat. Jim Leyland raved about Jones’ leadership qualifies in @WBCBaseball. ?? @MLBNetwork @MLB

That has to be welcomed news for Jones, who becomes a free agent after the season. Anything to get out of Baltimore as soon as possible.
