Oregon defensive lineman Drayton Carlberg was flagged for targeting after hitting Washington quarterback Jake Browning in the head on a sack. It came on the final play of the first quarter and Carlberg was ejected for it.

That’s a hit that, while unintentional, will be called every single time. You have to hit the quarterback lower than that, because contact to the head is contact to the head.
