The RedBox Bowl between Michigan and Oregon didn’t have much offense. But it did give us one of the worst fake punts in the history of football.
Late in the 4th quarter, with a 7-6 Oregon lead, the Ducks tried to create some offense and turned a 46-yard field goal attempt into a fake punt.
The play ended the only way it could have. With an almost immediate sack of the punter.
Remember that horrific fake punt the Colts tried years ago against the Pats?

The RedBox Bowl might be all the proof anyone needs to argue that there are too many bowl games.
