There were some big hits dished out during Friday night’s Pac-12 Championship Game. Some legal, some questionable and some that were illegal and went unflagged. Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert took one of the illegal shots that wasn’t flagged.
On a rare play in the game that didn’t go the Ducks way, the ball was snapped over Herbert’s head and he recovered it just inside the goal line, Utah’s Bradlee Anae dove at the Oregon quarterback and hit him in the head with his forearm. There was no flag for the blatant shot to the head.
Herbert stayed in the game and drove the ball down the field to add points to the board and there were a lot of Oregon points on the night.
