Ohio State wanted to leave no doubt that they were the worthy of their number one ranking. They jumped all over Maryland early and didn’t let up at all.
In the first quarter, with a 14-0 lead, the Buckeyes caught the Terrapins sleeping with an onside kick. They kept the pedal to the metal and led at halftime 42-0.
