The Giants announced that Eli Manning was being benched after two losses in favor of rookie Daniel Jones. On Wednesday the two time Super Bowl champion addressed the benching.
Manning took the demotion in stride, doing so by pointing out that he wasn’t dying and the season is far from over. Both are valid points.
The Giants quarterback wasn’t the only one asked about his benching. His former teammate Odell Beckham Jr. was asked about.
After making sure to point out that he doesn’t have anything to do with the Giants organization anymore, OBJ finally said he had, “nothing but love for him.”
