You have to love the dysfunction in Oakland. The latest is that the Raiders scouts were reportedly sent home and aren’t expected to return for the draft.
The reason, Head Coach Jon Gruden and General Manager Mike Mayock don’t trust them.
Sources: #Raiders coach Jon Gruden and GM Mike Mayock sent their scouts home for the weekend and they are not expected to return by draft time. The belief is they don’t know who to trust and wanted to clear the room.

What a beautiful thing. Nobody should be surprised by the dysfunction in Oakland.
There probably isn’t any real reason for Gruden and Mayock to not trust their scouts. It’s just the two of them putting their heads together and it led them down the path of paranoia.
It’s going to be another amazing season in Oakland in 2019.
