OJ Simpson was a Buffalo Bills legend.
The Bills had taken the number 32 which Simpson had worn during his playing days out of circulation.
And out of nowhere they decided to give that number away. The Bills gave #32 to halfback Senorise Perry.
Even Perry himself was surprised that he got the number, although he’s not exactly complaining about it.
Via The Athletic.
“I thought it was retired. But then I was told it was available. Boom, I took it,” Perry said.
Simpson who didn’t seem too upset by the Bills decision had this to say:
“Whatever they do is fine with me,” Simpson explained. “That’s how I feel.” “When I played there, I tried to honor the team. Since I left, I always tried to honor the Bills. To be honest, it’s not something I think about.
There’s too much else going on in life.”
O.J. Simpson is free, and that’s all he really cares about at this point.
You don’t get away with murder and worry about someone wearing your number.
