The Yankees lost their American League Division Series to the Red Sox three games to one on Tuesday night.  Prior to the loss the Yankees posted their lineup and captioned it, “Call The Avengers. It’s all on the line.”

On Wednesday morning, Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard responded to the tweet by trolling the Yankees.

What’s worse for a Yankees fan?  Losing a postseason series to the Red Sox or having the Mets and their fans chirping from their couches?  

Both aren’t great, especially when one of the guys trolling is a top notch starting pitcher and the Yankees could have used at least one decent starting pitcher in this series.
