Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles is skipping OTAs for personal reasons. According to reports, there is no timetable for his return.
Head Coach Doug Marrone spoke about the absence on Tuesday and didn’t specify why Jacksonville’s high priced free agent wasn’t in attendance.
Marrone seemed to indicate that there might have been a death in the family with a thoughts and prayers statement.
Jaguars’ QB Nick Foles isn’t at OTAs today for personal reasons. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Nick and his family,” said Jaguars’ HC Doug Marrone.

Missing OTAs isn’t a huge deal around the league, although the Jaguars and their executive vice president of football operations, Tom Coughlin, don’t always have a healthy relationship with the concept.
In this case it sounds like whatever is keeping Foles away from the team is an acceptable excuse.
