Eagles quarterback Nick Foles left Thursday night’s preseason game against the Patriots early after a strip sack. He immediately grabbed his arm as he went down following the fumble.
The Great Nick Foles labored to complete 3-of-9 pass attempts in his first preseason action of the year, then left the game after this injury. Carson Wentz is 8 months removed from ACL surgery. Eagles fans should be concerned about the QB position… pic.twitter.com/EQyGnsfUrt

It was later revealed that Foles had a strained throwing shoulder. He wasn’t exactly lighting it up before the injury either. His night ended 3 of 9 for 44 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions.
A Foles injury could get the Eagles season off on the wrong foot. They are expected to be without starter Carson Wentz for the first couple of weeks. If Foles is unable to go they could be in trouble.
