The Bears traded for Nick Foles this offseason and immediately announced that the starting quarterback job, previously held by Mitchell Trubisky, was an open competition.  Both quarterbacks will have an equal opportunity to land the job.

The betting odds to land the starting job quickly shifted in the former Super Bowl MVP’s favor.  The Bears then declined Trubisky’s fifth-year option and the odds shifted even more in Foles’ favor.
