Usually a trip to Miami is an enjoyable one. That’s not the case for the Tennessee Titans. They had an extremely long day on Sunday due to weather delays that ended in a 27-20 loss after seven hours.
Adding to the misery of the loss were injuries to some key players.
Left tackle Taylor Lewan left the game after getting knocked out cold, quarterback Marcus Mariota went down with a shoulder injury and tight end Delanie Walker suffered what appears to be a season ending ankle injury.
Prayers for Delanie Walker.

Ian Rapoport later reported that Walker suffered a dislocated ankle with an associated fracture.
#Titans TE Delanie Walker suffered a dislocated ankle in today’s loss vs the #Dolphins, I’m told. There was also an associated fracture. His season is almost certainly over, a tough injury for an underrated and productive player.

That’s a tough way for a season to come to an end, especially in Week 1.
