According to Adam Schefter, the New Orleans Saints are working out free agent receiver Dez Bryant on Tuesday, among others. It’s unclear if they plan on signing one of the receivers following the workout.
Free agent WR Brandon Marshall will join Dez Bryant and at least one other WR in working out for the #Saints, source said. Marshall recently worked out for the #Lions, too.

The 7-1 Saints could certainly use the help at the position with Ted Ginn Jr. on injured reserve with a knee injury and the newly acquired Cameron Meredith failing to be targeted in the last three games.

It’s unclear whether the Saints plan to sign one of the players or whether they are just updating their list of receivers who are available in case a need arises down the road — a common practice for NFL teams.
Either way, the Saints (7-1) could certainly use more production at wide receiver behind Pro Bowler Michael Thomas and his 70 catches for 880 yards and five touchdowns.
A Dez Bryant and Drew Brees combination could be a beneficial one for the Saints. Bryant has the potential to put up big numbers with a competent quarterback.
