Panthers newly signed safety Eric Reid, who was the first player to join Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem protests, continued the protest before his first game with Carolina.

The Panthers didn’t ask Reid if he planned to continue the protests when they signed him, saying the signing was strictly football related.

Reid was the only player protesting before the game on Sunday.
