Early Friday morning Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins was arrested after crashing his car into a tree near the team’s facility. He’s coming off of a disappointing 2018 season and is soon to become a restricted free agent.
Via The Baltimore Sun:
Police responded to a report of a car that had crashed into a tree on the 10000 block of Dolfield Road at about 6:48 a.m., Baltimore County police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer Peach said. The location is approximately a mile away from the team facility.
Collins, 24, was arrested, Peach said. Charges against him were not immediately available. Ravens vice president of public relations Chad Steele told The Baltimore Sun that the team has spoken with police and is aware of the situation.
Being arrested after crashing your car into a tree isn’t exactly the best way to get yourself a new contract, regardless of the charges. Especially after a disappointing season.
The 24-year-old might have just sealed his fate in Baltimore.
