A man, who wasn’t happy about Nike’s decision to partner with Colin Kaepernick for a new “Just Do It” ad campaign, decided to burn his own Nikes. His video is going viral on social media and the video’s caption makes it clear he’s choosing his country over his shoes.
First the @NFL forces me to choose between my favorite sport and my country. I chose country. Then @Nike forces me to choose between my favorite shoes and my country. Since when did the American Flag and the National Anthem become offensive?

This makes about as much sense as burning the jersey of a player who ends up on a new team. You still bought the product and you’re pretty much just flushing your own money down the drain.
But you will always have this viral video…
