The Colin Kaepernick ad campaign with Nike has caused some people to burn their own property. It’s also caused sales to jump. The latest news involving the Kaepernick ad campaign is that a city in Louisiana banned any city money from being spent on Nike merchandise.
Kenner, Lousiana mayor Ben Zahn sent out a private memo on September 5th that announced the ban.
Just confirmed this is real.

It sounds like the city of Kenner has way too much time on their hands if they have free time to make sure that city money isn’t spent on Nike merchandise. Maybe take care of some of the issues that are directly affecting your city.
