Is Jason Witten going to leave the Monday Night Football booth for a return to the Cowboys? According to 105.3 The Fan’s Ben Rogers he is.
Dallas never replaced Witten in the off-season and now injuries have them extremely thin at the position.
(1) Witt retired before they wanted him to & they never replaced him (2) Swaim, forced to start, is now out w/ a broken wrist (3) MNF experience prob hasn’t been all he’d hoped for (4) NFC East is there for taking. Rogers expects an announcement from Witten as early as 6 PM Central Time on Thursday night.
So @BenRogers just said his Witten coming back to play % is 85. And that he's tweeting something at 6 PM tonight to break the internet. Is this real life?

It might be a stretch to say a Witten return would break the internet, but it will be big news for the Cowboys and their fans if true.
The move makes a lot of sense given Dallas’ need at the position and how bad he is in the MNF booth. It would be a win-win for all involved.
