In her new memoir, Lessons: My Path To A Meaningful Life, Gisele shared that she has struggled learning how to cope with raising two kids when both she and her husband had big careers.
In an excerpt shared with People, she said:
After having kids, she worked less. But she still felt bad.
‘I had all this horrible, self-imposed guilt. I thought what a terrible mother I was for leaving my child even for like a day,’ she says.
And when she took the kids to work she felt guilty for that too.
‘Like, “Here we are on a plane and the baby is crying.”‘And there are the ups and downs of marriage: ‘When someone you love is happy, it makes you happy, or if they’re sad it makes you sad. You suffer with them and you have joy with them.’
Taking on the majority of the childcare while Brady trains — often from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. —
And there are the ups and downs of marriage: ‘When someone you love is happy, it makes you happy, or if they’re sad it makes you sad. You suffer with them and you have joy with them.’
Marriage and family is difficult. Being a world famous supermodel, and rich athlete doesn’t make you immune to real world problems.
This is the kind of thing she has to talk about to sell books. Sounds pretty standard to me.
