Defensive lineman David Irving went on Instagram Live on Thursday and quit football. He did so while smoking a joint.
The live stream comes a few days after the 25-year-old was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for his third violation of the substance abuse policy.
Irving did leave the door open for a return to the NFL, if they change their policy on the use of marijuana.

Who knows maybe Irving will end up in another league, one that doesn’t care if you smoke weed. In the meantime he might want to start updating that resume.
The money he made in the NFL won’t last forever.
