The announcement of Colin Kaepernick’s “Just Do It” ad campaign with Nike sent social media into a frenzy on Monday. Supporters of the move liked the announcement and shared it on their social media pages. Those opposed to the deal began destroying their own property.
On Wednesday afternoon Kaepernick shared his first Nike commercial on social media. It’s a pretty standard “Just Do It” ad with the free agent quarterback making an appearance at the end.
There is no mention of protests or police brutality. It’s a positive advertisement about reaching for your dreams. With that said, I’m sure people will have a problem with it.
Without further ado, here is Colin Kaepernick’s first “Just Do It” commercial.
