Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick landed a Nike advertising campaign. He will be the face of Nike’s “Just Do It” campaign which is celebrating its 30th year.

It’s an interesting move by Nike considering they are the official apparel company of the NFL. They just teamed up with a guy, in Kaepernick, that is suing the NFL for collusion.
Just like Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during the National Anthem has done, this partnership between Kap and Nike will likely spark a few debates. Nike must believe that they’re immune to any backlash that might come from this campaign.
