NFL hall of famer Brett Favre joined Megyn Kelly on Thursday morning to step up the war on football. The former quarterback who made millions upon millions of dollars playing football, is now speaking out against the sport due to concussions.
While speaking with Megyn about head injuries in sports, Favre was asked how many concussions he suffered during his 20 year career. He started out by saying 3 or 4 diagnosed concussions, then said probably thousands if you count “dings.”
“If a ‘ding’ is a #concussion, I’ve had hundreds, probable thousands (of concussions) throughout my career.” Brett Favre said on @megynkelly on @nbc. #NFL

There’s little doubt that he’s had more than 3 or 4 concussions. The man played 20 years in the NFL. But thousands? That seems absurd, and it’s a number meant to shock mothers into not letting their kids play football. Is the gunslinger trying to kill football?
