The NFL announced on Friday that it was suspending Oakland Raiders receiver Martavis Bryant indefinitely for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
#Raiders WR Martavis Bryant was finally suspended — again. He is back on the suspended list indefinitely for violating the terms of his reinstatement. More violations of the Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Bryant’s suspension capped off an eventful week for the Raiders. A week that started with the firing of their GM and a lawsuit filed by the city of Oakland.
The suspension is likely to end Bryant’s time in Oakland, which has been more eventful off of the field. He’s in the final year of his contract and was cut back in September only to be resigned 10 days later.
Bryant played in just 8 games making 19 catches before being placed on IR with a knee injury and then suspended indefinitely. And the best part of all of that is the fact that they sent the Steelers a third round draft pick for him.
