The NFL owners two days of meetings are underway in Atlanta. One of the items on the agenda is to attempt to solve the National Anthem controversy.
According to the rumors coming out of the meetings, one idea is to asses a 15 yard penalty for teams who have players kneel during the anthem.
Per sources, one anthem idea being discussed: Leaving it up to home team on whether teams come out for the anthem; if teams do come out for the anthem, potential that teams could be assessed 15-yard penalties for kneeling.

That should end all of the controversy surrounding the National Anthem in the NFL right? This has to be an attempt by someone to stir things up.
The NFL owners can’t possibly be that stupid. Although this does sound like something Texans owner Bob McNair might float out there. The owners have a long way to go if this is an idea they’re actually considering.
