Amari Cooper cashed in on a new five-year, $100 million deal with the Cowboys this offseason. He allegedly had a similar offer on the table from the Redskins, but decided to return to Dallas.
According to other NFL executives, Cooper isn’t worth $20 million a year. One exec pointed out all of the other options available in the draft.
Another NFL executive said that Cooper wasn’t a difference maker. Bottom line they don’t think Cooper’s worth the money Dallas backed up on his doorstep.
