On Friday evening the NFL sent an email to Barstool Sports’ president Dave Portnoy officially informing him that they were backing out of the charity auction he won.
In the email the league stated that Portnoy failed the required background check.
They listed several things that allegedly showed up on his background check including falsifying NFL credentials and being kicked out of the Super Bowl.
