New Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Is a Breastfeeding Mom

Today is officially one year since I walked the @si_swimsuit runway show, and I still get chills thinking about one of the greatest nights of my life. Walking for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit was a lifelong dream, and I remember like it was yesterday hearing my name get called to get into the Top 16. Chills, tears, pure joy, and then the walk happened. The walk that has changed my life forever. A 30 second conversation backstage, completely unplanned, that led to the walk with Aria breastfeeding. It was such a powerful moment for me, for all of us. Fulfilling my dream, and feeling so empowered. So strong. So beautiful. I still breastfeed every day. I hope that moment has made some of you gain confidence, and hope it has helped in normalizing breastfeeding. I hope that you never stop chasing those impossible dreams and never stop believing in yourself. I hope you all love your body a little more and appreciate all it can do. Know that even though your body changes after having a baby, you’re beautiful!! Remember what I said last year and will always hold true that, WOMEN CAN DO IT ALL!!! We can do anything. To the diverse, beautiful, amazing 17 women that will strut their stuff on the runway tonight, stay true to yourselves and have the best time, because it only takes one moment to change your life forever. Thank you to all of you that have been with me on this journey. It’s you that makes this all worth it.
