Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio’s surprising retirement on Tuesday came after a lawsuit was filed late Monday by former employee Curtis Blackwell.
Blackwell worked for Michigan State for four years before he was fired in 2017 following a party where several Michigan State players were accused of committed sexual assault.
Blackwell filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Dantonio and Michigan State 14 months ago, feeling he was the fall guy following the party.
