The NCAA announced the punishment for Memphis center James Wiseman. He accepted money from then booster and now head coach Penny Hardaway to relocate to Tennessee while he was in high school.
Wiseman has been suspended and fined for accepting the money. He will be out of the lineup until January 12th and is ordered to donate the amount of money he was given to a charity of his choice.
Memphis is expected to appeal Wiseman’s punishment.
