ESPN wanted it’s man for a new gig.
On Tuesday, Andrew Marchand reported yet again that NBC had declined ESPN’s initial request to engage in trade talks for broadcaster Al Michaels.

ESPN was hoping to pair Michaels with Peyton Manning, someone who they plan to make an offer to after Tony Romo signed a huge deal to stay with CBS.
Apparently NBC isn’t too keen on trading announcers.
