The NBA announced its full regular-season schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 campaign Thursday.
The schedule can be found here.
The campaign will kick off Oct. 22 with a pair of nationally televised matchups between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers.
Each team only has 80 games scheduled, with two future games to be determined as part of the second round of the NBA Cup. Quarterfinal and semifinal contests will count as regular-season games, while eliminated teams will play against each other to fill the full 82 contests.
The NBA Cup will kick off Nov. 12, with the tournament finals coming Dec. 17. The championship game is the only NBA Cup contest that doesn’t count toward the regular season.
Christmas Day will once again feature a full five-game slate of nationally televised action, with marquee matchups including the San Antonio Spurs against the Knicks, the Timberwolves versus the Dallas Mavericks, and the Philadelphia 76ers against the Celtics. The night caps off with games between the Lakers and Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns.
Other notable games include a finals rematch between the Celtics and the Mavericks on Jan. 25, Mavericks guard Klay Thompson’s return to Golden State against the Warriors on Nov. 12, and the new-look 76ers kicking off their season against the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 23.
