The NBA referees took to their official Twitter account to admit what appeared to be an obvious missed call during a play involving LeBron James and Stephen Curry in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. You can see the play in question below:

A day later, the NBA referees took their official Twitter account to admit the missed call, stating that it should have in fact been a foul.
“I guess the rule is you can review — you can review the call if it’s inside or outside the restricted, is the rule that I know. And, I mean, they called a charge, right? And LeBron was clearly four feet outside the restricted area. So it doesn’t make sense to go review something if — the review is if he’s on the line or if he’s close to the charge circle, that’s the review. He wasn’t close,” Lue said after the game.
Check out some funny tweets below, the refs have a pretty hard job to do, but they still have to get it right.

Can you speak on the referee giving a Tech to Ty Lue, after this blatant missed call?? About 4 minutes after let Draymond Green scream in his face ?
