Utah Jazz stars Karl Malone and Bryon Russell refused to be interview for the documentary.
“We exhausted just about every avenue,” Hehir said about Malone. “We started in January of 2018 on that one because we knew he would be a tough sell.”
Hehir added he interviewed John Stockton on March 10 and was still trying to get Malone, even suggesting the two get interviewed together.
He added there was never a response of any kind from Russell.

Both Jazz players were a huge part of why the Bulls went on to win their sixth title.
Malone missed two crucial free throws in Game 1 of the 1997 NBA Finals after Scottie Pippen told him “The Mailman doesn’t deliver on Sundays.”
And his past came up during the airing.
Fans ripped into his child he had with a 13 year old girl while in college.
