Saturday’s annual Army and Navy game had a little modern day twist to the smashmouth football usually played in this game.  With the game tied at 7, Navy had the ball on the one yard line with 13 seconds left in the first half.

Instead of an inside handoff or maybe an option play to the outside, Navy got a little creative.  They ran their version of the “Philly Special” for a touchdown.

Running the “Philly Special” in Philadelphia at Lincoln Field is awesome.  It should have counted as two touchdowns.
