Washington Nationals manager Dave Martinez brought a Mariachi band into the locker room to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.  Little stunts like this also mask the fact that the highly talented Nationals roster is underperforming yet again.

But at least they’re having a good time not living up to expectations.  What a genius, am I right?

Martinez didn’t limit the fun to the locker room, he had the band play on the field during batting practice too.

Whatever you do, don’t look at their record.  The only good thing is they’re in the lousy NL East.  So they’re not quite out of it yet.
