Washington Nationals closer Sean Doolittle received a standing ovation from his teammates on Friday night. He received the ovation after he used the Diamondbacks bullpen cart.
Doolittle followed the lead of Astros reliever Collin McHugh, who earlier was the first pitcher in 20 years to use bullpen cart in a game. After the game, a Nationals 3-1 win, Doolittle gave the cart a review and highly recommends using it.

Why would you not? Not only does it save you a little bit of energy, it’s a throwback to an awesome time in baseball. A time where pitchers not only used bullpen carts, but they wore jackets while running the bases.
