Chip Ganassi Racing has fired Kyle Larson following his use of the N word that was broadcast on a Twitch stream Sunday night. This follows the No. 42 car’s major sponsors indicating yesterday they would no longer back Larson but could stay with the team if another driver raced.

Larson, in his seventh full season racing at NASCAR’s top Cup level, was in the final year of his contract with Ganassi Racing.
