Patrick Mahomes had an MRI on Friday and it confirmed that he suffered a dislocated knee cap during Thursday night’s game, which was seen being popped back into place on the field.
The MRI also confirmed that he didn’t suffered any significant damage.
The Chiefs quarterback’s absence is expected to be a brief one. It was originally reported to be at least three weeks.
