Red Sox rightfielder Mookie Betts hit three home runs in three straight at-bats off of Yankees left-hander James Paxton on Friday night. Boston won the game 10-5, one night after beating the Bronx Bombers 19-3.
The three home run game was the fifth of Betts career. That puts him one back of the record of six.
At just 26 you have to believe he will shatter the three home run game record, especially if he keeps swinging the bat like he did on Friday night at Fenway.
