Conor McGregor made his return to the octagon on Saturday night at UFC 229 and was defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov in the 4th round.
After forcing McGregor to tap, the UFC’s lightweight champion had a few words for the Irishman.

Khabib then turned his focus on one of McGregor’s trainers and jumped out of the octagon to throw hands with him. All hell broke loose with punches being thrown inside and outside of the octagon.
NO QUESTION that @TeamKhabib beat @TheNotoriousMMA decisively at #UFC229 — and then Khabib pulled this stunt.pic.twitter.com/sY95zdzP3T

Here’s the brawl with Khabib jumping the fence and going after Danis. You’ll see somebody go after McGregor in the cage. This is bad. pic.twitter.com/IpOZiZy5vC

One of Khabib’s teammates even entered the octagon and took a few suckerpunches at McGregor.

The bizarre aftermath will certainly overshadow Khabib’s impressive victory. He dominated McGregor throughout the fight, especially on the ground.
Despite clearly not having the same skills in the stand-up game as McGregor, Khabib stood right in front of him and even managed to drop him with a right hand.
