Madison Bumgarner was not a fan of the umpire’s strike zone on Monday night in Miami. The Giants lefthander had some words for the homeplate umpire as he left the field and was ejected from the game.
Bumgarner was lifted in the 6th inning after giving up four runs on six hits. It appears as if the umpire wanted to make sure he wasn’t able to chirp at him from the dugout.

It’s either an incredibly savy move by the umpire or an incredibly soft one. We haven’t decided which yet. The ejection, as odd as it was, was the first of Bumgarner’s career.
