Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Carlos Gomez threw an epic fit in the dugout on Wednesday. He made more contact with things in the dugout than he’s made in years.
I wonder why Gomez didn’t stand there and watch the water coolers he hit. He does that every time he gets lucky and runs into a home run.
Following the game he apologized, sort of. He told the media he has enough money to pay a fine, if he was fined.
#Rays Gomez said it was a heat of the moment outburst stemming from ump not calling HBP before he struck out: “If I get fined I have enough money to pay it.”

Gomez is making $4 million to hit a pathetic .198. How is this dude still in the major leagues?
