Atlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb took a no hitter into the 9th against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. Chris Taylor found a hole between the shortstop and third baseman.
Newcomb might have lost his no hitter, but the Braves did end up winning the game 4-1. Taking a no no into the 9th inning of a Major League Baseball game is still an impressive feat.
It’s good to see the Braves actually let him go out in the 9th and go for it. Pitch counts are ruining the game.
