The Astros three years of cheating that led to a World Series victory in 2017, is expected to result in harsh punishment from the MLB. Reports are that the punishment could be one of the harshest penalties in sport’s history.
The reason for the severity of the penalty has as much to do with when it happened as the cheating itself.
